Join our QA team at Zendesk QA (formerly Klaus) to ensure the quality of a cutting-edge customer service quality assurance solution! We are looking for a new member with a strong background in back-end related change verification and hands-on experience with test automation for web applications. Your skills and contribution can ensure the stability of our platform in order to deliver a smooth experience for our customers.

Our quickly expanding, international team has embraced the innovative mindset from day one. We are looking to expand our Engineering team and seeking candidates for a hybrid role based in Estonia.

Our Stack

• TypeScript, Vue.js, Cypress

• Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Run, Github Actions, Bazel, and monorepo

What you will be doing

• Combine automated and manual testing during the development cycle and in parallel with off-cycle developments. Identify and report any issues found, also confirm that these issues have been resolved.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand how changes might impact the existing system and identify potential risks.
• Play the role of an automation engineer - design, develop, and maintain automaed tests.
• Performing code reviews and providing feedback to your peers.
• Take full ownership of your projects - ensure that the development cycle follows our QA processes, schedule, and requirements
• Be open to assisting your teammates, sharing your knowledge with them, and learning from them.
   

What you will bring to the role

• 5+ years of experience with software testing.
• Skilled in manual testing, both UI and API with focus on back-end testing (database and endpoint).
• Experience with implementing and maintaining automated tests for web applications (Selenium / Cypress, JavaScript / Typescript).
• Ability to swiftly and smoothly transition between tasks.
• Able to communicate openly and not afraid to ask questions.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to comprehend both the big picture and the details within it.
• Have a high level of self-organization skills, ownership, and responsibility to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with working remotely in English across departments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
