Javascript Developer

Job Description:

As a Senior JavaScript Developer at Zelis, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing our products built with AppSmith. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain robust applications that meet our internal needs. Your expertise in JavaScript and low-code development will be crucial in driving our projects to success.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and Maintain: Create, enhance, and maintain applications using AppSmith and JavaScript.

· Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.

· Optimize: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

· Troubleshoot: Identify and resolve issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.

· Innovate: Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in JavaScript and low-code development to continuously improve our products.

· Mentor: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Requirements:

· Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in JavaScript development.

· AppSmith Expertise: Proven experience with AppSmith or similar low-code platforms.

· Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

· Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

· Adaptability: Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Frameworks: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

· Backend Knowledge: Familiarity with Python using flask or FastAPI a plus.

· Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure (Preferred), or Google Cloud.

· Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development practices and tools.
