We are seeking a skilled and motivated Firmware Engineer to join our team focused on Zebra data capture devices. This role involves developing and migrating innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for enterprise-class devices. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of firmware development, be proficient in C and C++, and be eager to work in a cross-functional team. Responsibilities:
    • Work as part of the firmware development/maintence team for Zebra data capture devices.
    • Develop/migrate innovative, reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for enterprise-class devices.
    • Collaborate in a cross-functional team across multiple development sites in an Agile environment.
    • Involve in projects across the full software cycle, including architecture, design, development, and validation of firmware and device drivers.
    • Drive consistency across product portfolio on maintanence releases.
    • Work closely with customers on new requirements and validation.
    • Ensure high code quality by following software engineering best practices.
    • Document and maintain software development records.
    • Keep up to date with industry standards and advancements in development.

Qualifications:

 

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics/Electrical engineering, or Information Technology.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience on C and C++.
    • Excellent knowledge of OOPs concepts, design patterns and device I/O operations.
    • Experience working with USB/Bluetooth/Ethernet protocols is an advantage.
    • Experience in firmware development, particularly on RTOS platforms such as FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or VxWorks is a plus
    • Programming experience with Python, C# or JavaScript is a plus.
