Sr Cloud Product Engineer - Fully Remote Opportunity

Location: Remote

The Sr Cloud Product Engineer, is a senior hands-on engineering role responsible for the security, automation, compliance, and operational foundations of the Managed AI platform. This role partners closely with the Lead Engineer and Lead Architect to build highly automated, secure, and scalable delivery practices across Azure, GCP, and future cloud environments. 

The position focuses on CI/CD automation, platform security controls, compliance automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and AI governance enforcement. This role acts as a technical leader for platform engineering practices while remaining actively involved in engineering, automation, security implementation, and incident response. The Managed AI platform requires strong governance, security, identity, monitoring, and lifecycle controls as foundational capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines supporting Managed AI platforms and services. 
• Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions for Azure, GCP, and future cloud environments. 
• Implement automated security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle. 
• Build automated compliance validation and governance enforcement capabilities. 
• Implement continuous security scanning, vulnerability management, and policy enforcement. 
• Develop observability, monitoring, alerting, and operational automation solutions. 
• Build automated deployment mechanisms supporting zero-downtime releases. 
• Implement secret management, credential rotation, and privileged access controls. 
• Support prompt protection, AI governance, DLP integration, and enterprise AI security controls. 
• Integrate platform security tooling including Microsoft Defender, Cyera, Model Armor, and other enterprise security solutions. 
• Support production release management and critical incident response activities. 
• Mentor offshore engineers and contractors while remaining a hands-on technical contributor. 
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, platform standards, and engineering governance activities. 

Required Skills 

• Strong DevSecOps and Platform Engineering experience. 
• Expertise with Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitHub Workflows, Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and automation frameworks. 
• Experience building enterprise CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. 
• Strong Azure and GCP knowledge. 
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code at enterprise scale. 
• Experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting platforms. 
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity, networking, governance, and compliance controls. 
• Morden tech stack - .NET, Python ,React.
• Experience supporting high-availability production environments. 
• Strong scripting and automation skills. 

Preferred Skills 

• Experience with AI security frameworks and governance controls. 
• Experience implementing DLP, prompt inspection, prompt masking, and AI security controls. 
• Familiarity with Azure AI, Vertex AI, OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic ecosystems. 
• Experience with Microsoft Defender Suite, Cyera, Model Armor, and related security products. 
• Morden tech stack - .NET, Python ,React.
• Knowledge of FinOps, cost optimization, chargeback automation, and cloud governance. 

Experience 

• 8+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Security Engineering, or Automation Engineering. 
• 3+ years supporting large-scale cloud platforms. 
• Experience operating within regulated enterprise environments. 
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on.
