Platform Automation Engineer
Location: Veldhoven, North Brabant, Netherlands
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop automation workflows to streamline platform provisioning, deployment, and maintenance processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef to automate infrastructure deployment and configuration.
- Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and availability of platform services.
- Continuously optimize automation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Troubleshoot issues related to automation scripts, infrastructure, and platform services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and best practices to drive innovation and improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Platform Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
