HPC engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Job Responsibilities- Candidates should have good domain knowledge in High-Performance Computing, script language(Shell, Python), Linux administrator, operating systems (Linux, Windows), computer network
- Distributed file systems (Lustre/NFS), virtualization and containerization related experience is a plus
- Configuration and maintenance of the HPC computer rack/hardware. Professionally resolve hardware issues
- HPC Rack, Build, cable, configure, and provision Linux kernel, windows server.
- HPC Operating System Installation/provision - Windows Server, Linux, Unix.
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware problems on Linux cluster hardware and networking equipment and applying logical methods of resolution
- Preventive maintenance of cluster hardware
- Web Server and Database installation experience a plus
- Must be willing to learn quickly, multitask, and work in a fast pace environment.
