Quantitative Developer

Your role:

Zanders is looking for a Quantitative developer in Zagreb, to expand our Quantitative Development team. This is an energetic team of highly qualified professionals with extensive knowledge of financial markets (OTC derivatives & securities), programming and mathematics. Your role as a Quantitative developer is to provide the quantitative expertise to (1) support clients in the financial sector that run our (derivatives) valuation and risk models; (2) develop the Zanders software suite for derivative valuations and risk calculations and (3) provide advice to traders and risk managers on quantitative topics. The Quant development team comprises of people with a strong open source philosophy leveraging on open source packages such as Strata, QuantLib and Open Risk Engine (ORE).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new quantitative models for clients,
• Extend Zanders valuation and risk software suite,
• Perform risk management and OTC derivatives valuation calculations ,
• Provide support on the different quantitative topics,

Skills to be successful:

• PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field, preferably (financial) Mathematics, Computer Science or Software Engineering,
• 0-5 years of experience with familiarity with financial markets and the most important developments. Familiarity with derivatives pricing and risk calculations is a plus,
• Strong knowledge and experience with programming languages, such as C++, CUDA and/or Python,
• Intention to develop your knowledge in either financial markets, programming or mathematics.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English,
• Constructive attitude and pro-active team player.
