What You’ll Be Serving Up:
You will be at the forefront of defining the future of KFC’s tech-enabled operations, spearheading the development and testing of critical technology. Your mission will be to bring to life the next generation of KFC’s tech tools and platforms, from the onset of business case development to full-scale launch across all KFC restaurants.
Here’s How You’ll Spice Things Up:
Driving technology development and integration:
- Ensure robustness and scalability of new technologies—such as Edge, Poseidon, Dragontail, KMS, and Connected Kitchen—by conducting pilots, evaluating performance, and driving enhancements where necessary.
- Enable seamless implementation of new technology by developing and instituting standard operational and maintenance procedures, ensuring users and maintainers are equipped with necessary materials and long-term support.
- Build compelling business cases for technology investment by conducting cost-benefit analyses, creating ROI projections, and drafting product roadmaps from ideation to launch at scale.
Elevating technology performance:
- Optimize technology performance by monitoring new systems, analyzing results, and developing recommendations on opportunities for improvement.
- Enhance restaurant performance and guest experience by delivering technologies and solutions that address the largest pain points for restaurant-level stakeholders, partnering closely with restaurant teams to pinpoint the most impactful priorities.
What You Bring to the Table:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in Engineering, Operations, Technology, Business, or 5+ years of related work experience.
- Master's or MBA preferred.
Experience:
- Prior Experience in Restaurant Operations: Ability to understand and optimize restaurant workflows, including familiarity with kitchen management systems, point-of-sale systems, and customer-facing technologies to enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- 3+ years of experience in technology development, piloting, or testing.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing scalable processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve performance across restaurant environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from initiation to execution, including resource allocation, timeline management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication
- Experience in developing business cases and integrating new technologies in a restaurant or retail environment preferred.

- Strong team player that contributes to a positive and productive team environment; able to build strong relationships with teammates and stakeholders to deliver on day-to-day mission.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively.
