Assoc. Manager, IT Security

The Assoc. Manager, IT Security – Security Automation Engineering is an L9 senior individual contributor role responsible for designing, building, and improving automation that increases the speed, quality, and consistency of Yum!’s security operations. This role develops production-grade security workflows, detections, enrichments, integrations, and response playbooks across SIEM, SOAR, EDR, identity, network, cloud security, and ticketing ecosystems. At L9, the role works independently on complex problems where precedent may not exist, creates or significantly improves security automation solutions, and serves as a technical resource for less experienced analysts and engineers. The role partners closely with SOC leadership, detection engineers, incident response, IT, platform teams, and third-party technology providers to translate operational requirements into reliable, maintainable, and measurable automation outcomes.
