Production Artist – Afternoon Shift (1 PM–9 PM ET)

Responsibilities

• Create clean, production-ready character turnarounds in Adobe Illustrator
• Produce plush specification sheets and manufacturing documentation
• Prepare clear, organized sample feedback sheets for factory revisions
• Translate written communication, production notes, and feedback between English and Mandarin to support collaboration with our manufacturing partners
• Support turnaround creation and sample reviews based on team priorities
• Assist with factory communication and production problem-solving
• Help improve production documentation, templates, and internal workflows

Requirements

• Exceptional Adobe Illustrator skills with advanced vector drawing ability
• Strong experience creating clean, accurate character turnarounds with Adobe Illustrator
• Excellent understanding of anatomy, construction, proportion, and character design
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable learning new skills and adapting to changing priorities
• Fluent in English and Mandarin

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in plush, toys, softlines, collectibles, apparel, or consumer product manufacturing.
• Experience creating manufacturing documentation or specification sheets.
• Experience reviewing physical product samples.
• Experience communicating with overseas manufacturers.

About the Company

Working Hours: This role follows a set schedule of 1:00 PM–9:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday. These hours are designed to provide greater overlap with our team in China. Candidates must be available to consistently work this schedule.

As a Production Artist, you'll help bring approved concept artwork through every stage of plush product development by creating production-ready artwork, reviewing factory samples, and collaborating with our internal production team and manufacturing partners. The ideal candidate is an outstanding Adobe Illustrator artist with excellent vector drawing and character turnaround skills. Experience in the plush, toy or soft goods industry is a bonus.
