Enjoy the flexibility of working remotely or choose a hybrid arrangement that suits you. Whether you prefer working from home or splitting your time between our offices and your home, we support your work-life balance.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

- Advise and execute on survey sampling methodology for internal and external clients to deliver high quality, representative research
- Perform advanced analytics (e.g. logistic, penalized regressions; MaxDiff analysis; factor analysis; clustering) on survey data
- Collaborate with research teams to develop engaging analytic outputs and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to existing R codebase and collaborate with Analytics teammates to innovate on existing processes
These are the essential you will need to get an interview:
- Experience with statistical modeling of survey or other social science data
- Experience with public opinion and market research methods
- Strong grasp of programming fundamentals (e.g. control structures, writing functions, debugging, and object-oriented or functional programming concepts)
- Proficiency in R, with the ability to work inside and outside of the tidyverse framework
- A self motivated attitude, and the ability to look beyond established practices to find solutions to novel problems
- Tolerant of the ambiguity inherent in survey research
- Thrives in and promotes an intellectually diverse, collaborative, low ego culture
It would be great if you had these to, but we’ll support you if you don’t:
- Experience with R package development
- Experience with other technologies such as Linux, Git, SQL, Python programming
- Some background in or exposure to political science or political consulting
- Familiarity with population studies such as the American Community Survey or the Current Population Survey
For roles based in New York, Colorado, Massachusetts or Washington State, the base salary hiring range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00. Compensation offered will be determined by multiple factors including location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation and additional benefits. All US based full time employees are eligible for the following benefits:
- Paid vacation, holidays and sick days
- Flexible working arrangements available
- Group medical, dental and vision insurance
