Yotpo is seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer with experience in JavaScript and clean coding practices to join our Marketing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale enterprise-level WordPress projects while collaborating with global, cross-functional teams such as Product Marketing, Design, Brand, BI, and BA.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and maintain durable, extensible, and secure code for new web solutions and existing applications.
- Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring seamless functionality and user satisfaction.
- Optimize our website for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write server-side web application logic.
- Stay up-to-date with and implement new technologies to achieve goals.
- Work on cutting-edge frontend technologies.
What to bring:
- 3+ years of web development experience.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and WordPress.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases.
- Solid experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Git knowledge.
- Strong familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
- Knowledge of web performance optimization, including efficient rendering.
- Experience with server-side rendering (e.g., Next.js) – a plus.
- Great eye for responsive design and pixel-perfect execution
- Excellent communication skills.
