Senior Solution Architect

At YORA, we’re growing our architecture capability and are looking for an experienced Senior IT / Solution Architect who can turn complex business and technical needs into secure, scalable and sustainable solutions.

You’ll work in environments where systems, integrations, infrastructure, cloud, security and business requirements all need to come together – and where architecture needs to work not only on paper, but in reality.

About the role

As a Senior IT / Solution Architect at YORA, you’ll take a key role in shaping technical solutions in complex IT environments.

You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure, security and external suppliers to understand requirements, evaluate alternatives and define the architecture needed to move forward.

Depending on the assignment, you may work with everything from new system implementations and integrations to modernization of existing platforms and larger digital transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop solution and IT architectures

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Analyse complex system landscapes, dependencies and information flows

• Design integrations between systems, platforms and services

• Define target architecture, technical principles and roadmaps

• Support larger system implementations and modernization initiatives

• Evaluate technical solutions, platforms and suppliers

• Work closely with development, infrastructure, cloud and security teams

• Ensure security, privacy and scalability are considered from the start

• Communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What we’re looking for

We believe you have:

• Several years of experience within IT, including solid experience in an IT Architect, Solution Architect or similar role

• Experience designing solutions in large and complex IT environments

• Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations and information flows

• Experience from larger system implementations, modernization or transformation projects

• Broad technical understanding across applications, infrastructure, cloud and security

• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and external suppliers

• The ability to move comfortably between strategic discussions and technical detail

• Professional proficiency in Swedish and English

Nice to have

Experience with one or several of the following is a plus:

• Azure and Microsoft 365

• APIs, integration platforms and event-driven architecture

• Cloud and hybrid environments

• Identity and access management

• Cybersecurity and information security

• GDPR and data protection

• Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF

• PM3 or similar governance models

• Public sector and LOU

• Large enterprise environments
