About the Project

Yei Finance is a decentralized, non-custodial money market protocol built on the Sei network, designed to provide innovative and flexible financial solutions. It offers users competitive yield, empowers them to borrow through over-collateralized or flash loans, and enables them to manage risks with advanced tools—all while leveraging Sei's speed and cost.

Clovis is the latest product by Yei Finance, which reached more than $400M TVL at ATH, generated $5.5M in protocol revenue over the past year, and became the largest protocol on Sei. Yei also launched the first lending boosted DEX on Sei, where YeiSwap compounds YeiLend yields to drive $230M+ in monthly trading volume and $147M in bridge flow. Yei Finance also had a successful TGE, launching at $200M FDV and currently sits at around $350M, rewarding hundreds of thousands of users and community members in the process. Now, Clovis will expand this proven model by becoming multichain, and positioning itself as the cross chain prime brokerage layer for DeFi.

The Opportunity

Build the user-facing products that bring DeFi to life. You'll own the frontend experience for lending markets, swaps, and cross-chain bridges- turning complex protocol interactions into intuitive interfaces that users trust with their assets.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain DeFi web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript

• Implement Web3 integrations with Wagmi v2, RainbowKit, and wallet connection flows

• Build and optimize backend APIs and services in TypeScript (Node.js) and Python

• Write and maintain Subgraphs (The Graph) to index on-chain data for frontend consumption

• Design responsive, performant UIs that handle real-time blockchain data

• Build data collection and analytics pipelines (event tracking, dashboards, and data QA) to support marketing and growth data requests

• Collaborate with protocol engineers to surface contract interactions through clean UX

Qualifications

• 3+ years of frontend development with TypeScript, React, and Next.js

• Experience with Web3 libraries: Wagmi, Viem, Ethers.js, or similar

• Proficiency in server state management (TanStack Query) and modern React patterns

• Backend development experience with Node.js/Express and Go or Python

• Familiarity with GraphQL and The Graph (Subgraph development)

• Understanding of DeFi concepts: lending, AMMs, liquidity provision

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Dynamic Labs or similar embedded wallet solutions

• Know how to integrate with smart contract.

• Know how to debug smart contract call error.

• Previous work on DeFi or Web3 products.
