C++ Application Enginer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, integrate, and deploy client software written in C++ (C++17 & C++20) from requirements to production.
- Actively participate as a member of an Agile/Scrum (SAFe) development team.
- Assist with estimation of time, effort, and resources required for new features and enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, peer reviews, and contribute to improving overall software quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, firmware, and software) to implement and validate feature dependencies.
- Integrate and validate new product designs and enhancements.
- Apply innovative and effective problem-solving techniques to complex technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain multi-threaded and high-performance software applications.
- Work with networking protocols and socket programming using TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintain high standards of technical writing.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong programming expertise in C++ with solid object-oriented and component-oriented design principles.
- Hands-on experience with C++17 and C++20 standards.
- Strong experience developing and debugging applications in a Linux (Ubuntu) environment.
- Proficiency with CMake build system and Conan package management.
- Experience with Git and Bitbucket for source control.
- Familiarity with software configuration management, defect tracking tools, and peer review processes.
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, UDP, socket programming, and IPv6.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum (SAFe) environments using Jira and Confluence.
- Strong documentation and technical writing skills.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins and Artifactory.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint.
- Experience with cross-functional development and verification across hardware, firmware, and software teams.
- Familiarity with C++11 standards and legacy codebases.
