We're the team that helps to power and support Grass, a bandwidth-sharing network that lets us operate a massive distributed crawler, giving us unique access to high-quality public web data at global scale. On top of that, we’ve built pipelines for ingesting, segmenting, and annotating billions of videos, transcripts, and audio files, powering dataset creation for frontier labs.

The Role.

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building robust, scalable applications and brings substantial experience in both front-end and back-end development. You will join a dynamic, forward-thinking team and play a pivotal role in creating and optimizing our platform, advancing our vision for an integrated, cutting-edge user experience.

Who You Are

• Strong proficiency in React (Material UI, Chakra UI), NextJS, Vite.js

• Solid experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Go, Redis, and familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL).

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of both client-side and server-side architecture.

• Experience with Tauri or similar frameworks.

• Ability to maintain analytics tracking tools and set up A/B testing

• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers.

• A track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable code and contributing to significant projects.

• Ability to pick up new AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Opus

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiar with EVM/SVM chains

• Familiar with AWS and setting up CI/CD pipelines

What You'll Be Doing.

• Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of our application, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. This role is slightly more front-end focused.

• Collaborate with product managers and designers from initial concept through to deployment, translating ideas into functional and user-friendly solutions.

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability to enhance the overall user experience and meet business goals.

• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and continuously improve development processes.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating new tools and methodologies to keep our tech stack modern and efficient.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions and maintaining system reliability.
