As a Systems Scaling Engineer you drive the scaling of our high-volume B2B vehicle-sharing platform, impacting millions & accelerating the transition to sustainable mobility. You will optimize our systems for performance, reliability and cost-effectiveness. 

• Analyze and optimize database structures, queries, and indexing for peak performance

• Design and execute tests to assess system limits, identify bottlenecks, and recommend scaling strategies

• Implement monitoring solutions, establish alerts, and troubleshoot performance issues

• Profile code to identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers on code-level improvements

• 3+ years of experience optimizing database-driven applications for performance and scalability

• Experience with cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP)

• Expertise in SQL, database design, and performance tuning with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

• Proficiency with load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, k6, etc.)

• Experience implementing monitoring solutions (e.g., Sentry, Grafana) and establishing alerts

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (PHP, Python, NodeJS)

• Excellent communication skills in English 

• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Redis)

• Experience with distributed systems and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
