We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead our Test Development efforts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating innovative testing systems and software to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Your expertise will directly impact operational goals, ensuring timely production support and successful product launches. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering issues and drive improvements in our production test methodologies.

What you will do

Test System Development

  • Design, develop, integrate, validate, and maintain automated test systems and software for manufacturing and production testing.

  • Develop and support manufacturing test solutions for high-volume production environments.

  • Develop and maintain test software applications using C, C++, C#, WPF, and .NET Core technologies.

  • Develop test algorithms, automation tools, and data analysis applications to improve test effectiveness and manufacturing performance.

Hardware and Fixture Development

  • Design and implement test fixtures, hardware interfaces, jigs, and related test equipment.

  • Ensure test systems meet product specifications, reliability targets, and manufacturing requirements.

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors in the development, maintenance, and optimization of test hardware and fixtures.

Process Improvement and Optimization

  • Analyze existing test methodologies, systems, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on:

    • Reducing test cycle time

    • Improving manufacturing yield

    • Increasing automation

    • Enhancing test coverage and reliability

  • Implement solutions that improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Develop, qualify, and validate manufacturing test systems for new products.

  • Support NPI activities from concept through production deployment.

  • Ensure test solutions are production-ready and meet manufacturing performance requirements.

Troubleshooting and Technical Support

  • Provide technical support for test-related manufacturing issues and production challenges.

  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on software, hardware, and integrated test systems.

  • Drive corrective and preventive actions to improve system stability and product quality.

Documentation and Compliance

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including:

    • Test specifications

    • Validation and verification plans

    • Test reports

    • Work instructions

    • Maintenance procedures

    • Engineering change documentation

  • Ensure documentation complies with company quality standards and engineering processes.

What you bring

Experience

  • Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related field.

  • 3- 5 years of relevant working experience in a testing or manufacturing test development, test engineering, or related engineering disciplines.

  • Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is preferred.

  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) programs is highly desirable.

  • Experience in medical devices, hearing aids, consumer electronics, or related industries is an advantage.
