TEAM
Our mission is to create world-class software and build the safest car in the world. Our team combines modern technology with IoT data collection systems, flexibly handles the data and sends processed data from vehicles to cloud systems, then supports a variety of projects in the AD/ADAS domain. One of our goals is to achieve faster feedback iterations and improve the speed of innovation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You will help to build the data-driven development pipeline with data from customer vehicles, fleet vehicles, MaaS platforms, and other sources for refining our automated driving (AD) / advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) which are used in cars. This is one of Woven's core missions, and you will collaborate with product teams, business teams, and top management.
You will be based in Tokyo and report to the AD/ADAS development manager, and will also partner globally with vehicle development leaders in the US, UK, and other countries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Consider test plans to verify and validate data collection system including cloud servers and on-vehicle ECUs
  • Develop test cases and test environments for fulfilling system-level requirements including non-functional requirements
  • Create automated continuous integration, build and verification testing, deployment, and release of the toolchain
  • Organize demonstrations of the data collection system by conducting an end-to-end integration of each development team’s system to receive feedback from partners
  • Collaborate with other engineers to support quality improvement

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, vehicle dynamics, robotics, or similar field of study, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as a developer or test engineer with experience designing and accomplishing tests and building CI/CD pipelines such as automated testing within product development.
  • Fluent-level Japanese (JLPT Level 1 or N1)
  • Fluent written and spoken English

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Familiarity with automotive or embedded systems
  • Familiarity with automotive development process
  • Knowledge and practical experience with testing schemes (e.g. ISTQB, ISO 29119)
  • Experience in MILS/SILS/HILS
  • Experience in automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN/Ether)
  • Experience in testing compliance with functional safety standard (ISO 26262)
  • Skills in team management of agile/scrum development
