TEAM
The Data Analytics team is responsible for Woven by Toyota's data-driven culture. We maintain a data platform that modernizes the developer experience, providing support to our users for better decisions. With a commitment to automation, the team is always looking to improve internal processes and deliver more value to our customers.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
You are passionate about understanding and solving business problems with data, learning new data analysis paradigms using GenAI, and building better ways to share information. You establish relationships with teams, dive deep to understand business problems, analyse data from all angles, and designs reports with UX in mind. Since we also maintain the data platform, we value people who are also technical and can build features from scratch.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with teams to create automated reporting for business operations
  • Develop requirements, metric definitions, reporting dashboards, and maintain the data catalog
  • Conduct complex queries and analyses and support internal partners in diagnosing and resolving issues
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers to set up data pipelines to retrieve, aggregate and model data from multiple sources
  • Use machine learning models to extract data from unstructured sources, improve data quality, support analyses and enhance how users work with data
  • Develop a community of data enthusiasts and help guide the data-driven culture within Woven by Toyota by designing usable data models and building training programs
  • Report to the Head of Data Analytics and come to the office 3x per week per our hybrid work policy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience using SQL and Python for querying and analysing data
  • Relevant experience with data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) for data presentation, conducting deep dive analyses of business problems; identify causes of business trends, formulating conclusions and recommendations
  • Experience designing and building machine learning models for delivering insights, improving data quality or extracting data from unstructured sources
  • Business proficiency in English

NICE TO HAVES:

  • Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
  • Experience with building applications using LLMs
