What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:

· Review telecom design basis, architecture, block diagrams, equipment specifications, layouts, cable schedules, and interface documents.

· Review telecom interfaces with protection, SCADA, control systems, OPGW, transmission line, and substation equipment.

· Identify telecom design gaps, redundancy issues, interface mismatches, and constructability concerns.

· Support technical clarifications, design review workshops, and comment resolution with contractors and client stakeholders.

Compliance: 

1. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting continuous environmental performance improvement.
2. Promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by supporting the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in compliance with ISO 45001, identifying hazards, assessing risks, and driving continuous improvement in workplace safety.
3. Support the implementation and monitoring of the Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) in accordance with ISO 37001, ensuring compliance with anti-bribery policies, due diligence, and promoting a culture of integrity and transparency.
4. Employees are expected to comply with the ISO 9001 Quality Management System by following established procedures, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continual improvement. This ensures alignment with the organization's commitment to quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll have

· Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant telecom engineering experience for power transmission, substation, utility, or infrastructure projects.

· Experience with telecom requirements for HV/EHV substations and transmission systems is preferred.

· Familiarity with fibre optic systems, OPGW, teleprotection, SCADA communication, LAN/WAN, and utility communication protocols.

· Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation for design review.
