What you’ll do

The role responsibilities include:

· Review 500kV substation electrical DED deliverables including SLDs, layouts, equipment specifications, grounding, lightning protection, AC/DC auxiliary systems, cable routing, and calculations.

· Review integration of power system study outputs into the electrical design, including short circuit levels, reactive power compensation, reactor requirements, and operating requirements.

· Identify design gaps, non-compliances, technical risks, constructability issues, and interface concerns from an Owner’s Engineer perspective.

· Support technical review meetings, comment resolution, engineering risk register input, and client technical clarifications.

What you’ll have

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HV/EHV transmission, substation, grid interconnection, or power infrastructure projects.

· Experience with 500kV substation or transmission projects is strongly preferred.

· Experience in Owner’s Engineer, PMC, engineering consultant, EPC design review, or similar technical assurance role.

· Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ability to interpret PSS/E study outputs
