We are looking for a Mid level Software Development Engineer that is hardworking, innovative, and passionate about designing and developing scalable and resilient solutions across multiple product areas in the Financials pillar that support business and customer success. About the Role

The Engineer works closely with scrum teams, product managers, business partners across product boundaries to design and build scalable and resilient solutions to support the needs of our customers. You will analyze complex technical and functional business problems and provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing solutions that best meet the customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the high-level design and end-to-end solutions based upon product strategy and functionality and identify relevant mitigating strategies.
• Find opportunities for improving performance of features and drive ongoing efficiency, and continued improvement around resiliency and scalability across several product areas.
• Collaborate closely with several cross functional groups to ensure delivery of such scalable solutions.
• Complete peer reviews of configuration to help teams identify up and downstream impacts, dependencies and project risks
• Plan and complete unit testing, automation and advise teams performing integration and acceptance testing.

About You

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience developing web applications and/or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) products as part of a multi-functional team

- Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, including experience in an object-oriented language and in UML modeling

- Experience in design and analysis of software for performance, extensibility and scalability

- Track record of leading technical delivery of business functionality that involve collaboration with other teams

Other Qualifications

- Experience mentoring other engineers and giving feedback to peers in code reviews

- Ability to triage and resolve production issues

- Experience developing complex enterprise applications

- Experience designing, presenting, implementing, and measuring impact of innovative solutions to address gaps in functionality and processes

- Experience with integration technologies, such as SOAP and REST APIs

- Knowledge of financials, payroll and human resources (HR) systems a plus

- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
