A startup within Workday. No, really. We’re part of the Workday Extend (https://blog.workday.com/en-us/2020/workday-extend-now-available-to-customers.html), and we’re looking for thoughtful, highly technical, and empathetic engineering leaders to help shape our teams in Beaverton OR, Pleasanton CA, and Atlanta GA.

About the Role

• Work in a highly collaborative environment on a team that builds products that support the organization's software development lifecycle.
• Lead, coach, and strengthen a team of 6-8 engineers of various backgrounds and experience levels.
• Apply your experience to encourage and foster a team culture featuring open communication, teamwork, high standards, and a growth mindset.
• Own recruiting and hiring activities as the team continues to scale
• Encourage innovation to come from anyone at any time.
• Understand business strategy and goals, translating those into meaningful objectives and key results which are supervised to completion.
• Collaborate with fellow managers as an active member of the organization's engineering management team.
• Embrace the idea that the best software teams are the ones that also know how to have fun!

About You

• 5 years of experience leading software development teams and handling complex projects
• 8+ years modern software development experience, preferably Java and experience delivering high quality software products

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

 

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $172,000 USD - $258,000 USD

 

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $163,400 USD - $300,000 USD
