About the Role
Daily contribute to backend services of analytical applications providing AI-generated insights to enterprise customers
Implement new features into an orchestration service for managing workload of analytical engine
Develop backend service to manage frontend requests
Advise fellow software engineers on design and development of scalable software
Contribute to feature design and development across multiple teams including backend and frontend
Product & Team
Our proprietary Storyteller software is the foundation of Workday’s Augmented Analytics platform
The platform delivers automated analyses of People, Finance, and any structured data to business users without a need for a human analyst
Our automated analyses are presented to users in easily consumable and narrative stories
We are team of 100+ software engineers, data analysts, PMs, SREs and SDETs sitting in Prague city centre
We are working closely with Workday Analytics team in Silicon Valley
About You
You love working on complex technical projects with some unknowns
You are passionate about analytical tools and functionality that solve customer problems
You care about customer satisfaction and solving customer problems
You are a team player and enjoy collaborating across teams to build new solutions
You care about code quality and advocate for best development practices
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a software engineer
Excellent coding skills (Java or similar languages)
Strong communication skills
Other Qualifications:
Highly motivated to learn how things work
Experience working on distributed systems
