We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Software Development Engineer at the beginning of their career to join our exceptional and growing engineering team at Workday in Dublin!
As Associate Software Development Engineer, you will play an important role in developing and delivering extraordinary software solutions that empower our customers to succeed, while improving the evolving delivery process as well as infrastructure and services.
About the Role
Identifying project risks and issues and providing change control process inputs
Working on enabling features for new customers and supporting the implementation process
Developing custom client solutions of HiredScore products
Working on the development of multiple projects in parallel, identify design gaps, risks and ensuring completion according to priority
Designing automated solutions to support the Professional Services standards and principles
Configuring new automated processes and developing new tools and infrastructures that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand
About You
Basic Qualifications:
2 years of practical experience of development, with at least 1 year of experience in Python
Experience with NOSQL queries, including familiarity with indexes and database standard processes
Familiarity with microservices architecture and Kubernetes and/or Docker
Solid understanding of development tasks tools (e.g. JIRA, GitHub)
Familiarity with standard methodologies in software development
Other Qualifications:
Ability to work independently and in startup-like environments
Process-focused attitude with strong, organized and methodical problem-solving ability
Adaptable and resilient, able to handle changing priorities and challenges.
Strong analytical skills to understand and translate customer needs.
Passion for technology, teamwork, and solving sophisticated problems
Strong English communication skills
