Your Day-to-Day
Here's what you'll be doing in your day-to-day work:
- Managing and improve team performance, delegating tasks and providing career development feedback
- Lead technical conversations and strategic planning
- Drive the execution of important projects
- Contribute to building a world-class news consumption experience
- Partner with product teams to manage scope and deliverables, focus on high-impact projects

Must-have Skills
- Expert in either Android or iOS native mobile development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Swift and/or atest tech, jet pack, Kotlin
- Familiarity with data structures, system design, and design patterns
- Proficiency in API design, MVVM, declarative UI, Git, and DevOps
- Full-stack background is a plus, with familiarity in cloud services, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.
- Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies
- Passion and experience building web-based technology products or applications
- Strong communication skills in English
- This position is based in BCN on a hybrid mode (3 days per week at the office)
Nice to have Skills
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
- Strong experience in working directly with clients
- Passion for news and creativity in introducing new ideas and technologies
- Background in journalism is advantageous
