Job Description

  • Play a key role in shaping and maintaining the iOS domain of Wix’s React Native infrastructure projects
  • Join and lead cross-platform projects, expand your domain knowledge to Android and JavaScript and work closely with domain experts within the team
  • Maintain and develop two of the most successful open-source projects at Wix, Detox and React Native Navigation
  • Define and implement new features, optimize existing ones, and ensure the framework remains on the cutting-edge of the iOS ecosystem
  • Collaborate with mobile teams across Wix to enhance the testing experience and development velocity of mobile developers and QA automation engineers
  • Engage with other developers within Wix and the open-source community to investigate problems, provide support, and collect feedback to continuously improve the Detox framework
  • Test and implement infrastructure solutions at high scale within Wix, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and adhering to modern development practices
  • Continuously learn and improve through a personalized growth path

Qualifications

  • Passionate and experienced iOS developer, with deep knowledge of the iOS tech stack, including Objective-C, Swift and different iOS frameworks
  • Familiar with testing best practices (testing pyramid, TDD)
  • Experience in infrastructure development, including SDK, libraries and frameworks
  • Proactive approach to finding and solving problems
  • A person who thrives in collaborative environments and has good communication skills
  • Eager to learn new things and share their knowledge with peers
  • Experience in React Native and Javascript (Node.js), writing UI tests for iOS apps (especially with XCUITest, contributing to open-source projects and CI/DevOps development – an advantage

As part of Wix's Mobile Infrastructure group, we collaborate with software and automation engineers to improve their tools and methodologies, ultimately enabling faster and more confident feature delivery.
