Vos missions (What you will do):
- Participer à l’élaboration et à l’amélioration des modèles de logiciels de vol au sein de l’équipe d’élaboration des lois de commande.
- Appuyer les groupes Aérodynamique, Structures, Stabilité et Contrôle, et Logiciels de gestion des véhicules dans le cadre de l’IPT des aéronefs.
- Soutenir la résolution de problèmes après les essais en vol sur les prototypes à petite échelle, notamment en améliorant les algorithmes après l’analyse des données de test.
- Coordonner les activités d’analyse pour la vérification des exigences de conception, en vue de répondre aux objectifs de certification des logiciels.
- Développer de nouveaux outils GNC en utilisant les meilleures pratiques logicielles dans MATLAB/Simulink.
- Collaborer étroitement avec l’équipe de conception axée sur les modèles et contribuer aux activités de développement et de vérification des logiciels à haute intégrité.
- Participer aux activités SIL/HIL et aux opérations d’essais en vol en résolvant les anomalies et les problèmes.
- Exécuter des simulations en boucle fermée dans le moteur de simulation de physique du vol et affiner les modèles de conception logicielle après analyse des résultats.
- Acquérir une connaissance approfondie de l’avionique, de l’architecture logicielle, et des algorithmes de mode et de commande du véhicule, ainsi que des outils d’analyse de l’équipe.
- You will take part in developing flight software models and improving existing models within the Control Laws Development Team.
- As part of the Aircraft IPT, you will support such groups as the Aerodynamics, Structures, Stability&Control, and Vehicle Management Software Teams.
- You will support problem solving activities following flight tests on our Subscale prototype vehicle, in which you will improve control law algorithms after reviewing the flight test data.
- You will help coordinate analysis activities to support verification of design requirements for satisfying software certification objectives.
- You will take part in developing new GNC tools using software best practices in MATLAB/Simulink
- In some areas, you will be working closely with the Model-Based Design Team, contributing to software development and verification activities for developing high-integrity software.
- As a Senior Staff Controls Engineer, you will help develop new GNC tools using software best practices in MATLAB&Simulink.
- You will support SIL/HIL and flight test operations activities in debugging anomalies and issues.
- You will run closed-loop simulations within the flight physics simulation engine, and improve software design models after analyzing the logged results.
- You will obtain a high level of familiarity with our vehicle’s avionics, software architecture, mode & controller algorithms, and the team’s analysis tools.
Exigences (Requirements):
- Maîtrise ou doctorat en génie aéronautique, aérospatial, mécanique ou électrique, avec au moins huit (12) ans d’expérience dans l’industrie.
- Expérience au sein d’une équipe GNC et maîtrise approfondie de la théorie des commandes.
- Compétences pratiques en création d’algorithmes de lois de commande et expertise en programmation MATLAB et modélisation Simulink.
- Connaissance approfondie de l’aérodynamique et de la dynamique de vol des aéronefs à voilure fixe et des giravions.
- Solide expérience en simulation pour tester les lois de commande dans un environnement 6DOF.
- Expérience de direction d’équipes ayant obtenu la certification de lois de commande.
- Connaissance des exigences de certification et de conformité (sous-partie B).
- Compétences souhaitées :
- -Conception d’algorithmes de contrôle robustes.
- -Analyse des estimations d’état et des résultats des capteurs (accéléromètres, gyroscopes, magnétomètres, GPS, transducteurs de pression, etc.).
- -Rédaction des exigences logicielles pour les algorithmes de commande.
- -Utilisation de simulations pour contribuer à la certification des systèmes de commande.
- M.S. or PhD. in Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 12 years of industry experience
- You have previously worked on a GNC team and have strong knowledge control theory.
- You have hands-on experience creating control laws algorithms, and have developed strong MATLAB programming & Simulink modeling skills.
- You have a deep and applied knowledge of fixed wing and rotorcraft aerodynamics and aircraft flight dynamics.
- You have a strong simulation background for testing your control laws in a 6DOF environment.
- You have led teams that achieved certification of their control laws.
- You are familiar with Subpart B certification rules and means of compliance.
- You have experience in the following areas:
- -Designing robust control and allocation algorithms
- -Analyzing state estimation and sensor outputs (accelerometers, gyros, magnetometer, GPS, pressure transducers, etc.)
- -Writing software requirements for controls algorithms
- -Using simulation for aiding certification of control systems
