Wisk’s internship experience is a 12 week, hands-on program. Our goal for our internship program is to see what it’s like to be a full time Wisk employee and complete meaningful work.
We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our team for summer 2025. The goal of a Software Engineering Intern at Wisk is to ensure that the engineering department has the tools and services to operate cross functionally, using the tools you build to do so. You will be part of the STS Tools team that provides tools and services for the engineering division.
Responsibilities:
- As part of the STS Tools organization, you will act as a Software Engineering Intern for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
- You will take part in developing tools and services for the engineering department.
- You will help support problem solving activities involving data infrastructure, automation tooling, simulation tooling, and flight planning tooling.
- You will take part in data collection, data analysis, data infrastructure design, full stack tooling and web application development.
Requirements:
- Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters or PhD degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
- Areas: Web development, data analysis, data architecture, and devops.
- Languages: Python, Typescript, C/C++.
- Tools/Services: Google Cloud Platform, Jupyter Notebooks, React, GitLab CICD, Node.
Hourly rate will be $25 USD an hour.
This internship role will be based at Wisk's office in Mountain View, California and relocation or housing will not be provided.

Must be able to work on-site in Mountain View, CA
You must be legally authorized to work in the US for the duration of Internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Must live in the US at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be either a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in college
Must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0, transcripts are required
Must be an enrolled student at both the time of application AND at the time the internship begins
Must be able to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks (full-time for 3 months)
