Location and Flexibility

This is a hybrid role. This model requires the ability to work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times/ week or 8 days/ month) or Porto Alegre (3 times/ week or 12 days/ month). Our WFN culture is designed to foster in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.

Responsibilities:

• Technical leadership of development/delivery, best practices hands-on agentic development, and expert feature, application and platform planing/architecture

• Contribute to and guide cross-organizational engineers in following platform-level design patterns in their projects/products.

• Orchestrate CI infrastructure for minimal pipeline run times and actionable feedback.

• Contribute to and guide cross-organizational engineers in following platform-level design patterns in their products.

• Identify obstacles to ensure quality, improve our user experience and how we build tests

• Be self-aware of limitations, yet curious to learn new solutions while being receptive to constructive feedback from teammates

• Help mentor and coach a product team towards shared goals and outcomes

• Guide your team to understand and work through changing priorities by bringing positive energy

• navigate difficult conversations by providing constructive feedback to teams

• Communicate and simplify complex problems in order to foster understanding across multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of enterprise web, application and platform development experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in TypeScript (Nest.js, Node.js) and TypeORM

• AI-native / agentic coding (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Open Code), agent orchestration with deep hand-on technical review/verification

• Comprehensive understanding of backend code, databases (SQL and NoSQL), security, APIs, data architecture

• Experience implementing web security standards in development.

• Experience with cloud platforms, micro services and serverless architecture (GCP and/or AWS)

• Proficient in the discovery & scoping process along with stakeholders and formulating detailed plans to solve critical issues.

• Demonstrates the ability to pick up new languages, frameworks, platforms, test methodologies, and patterns rapidly.

• Exceptional ability to present complex technical and product-related information to various partners effectively.

• Proficient in communicating and writing in English

Bonus Points:

• Extensive experience building automated test suites and using granular debugging tools.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Github actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc., and experience setting up deployment pipelines.

• Familiarity with Vercel and Next.js

• GCP, Apigee and infrastructure proficiency is a plus

• Familiarity with Firebase and Firestore
