This role in summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with expertise in cloud computing, hands-on experience in managing SAP MII (SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence) with SQL Server, proficiency in managing SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component), SAP BI (Business Intelligence), and SAP HANA. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our SAP environment working along with our global Basis and Infra support partners.

Your responsibilities will include

• SAP MII Administration:

  • Manage and support SAP MII systems, ensuring seamless integration with SQL Server and other manufacturing applications.

  • Maintain manufacturing data models for production reporting, process control, and analytics.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and application performance issues within the MII environment.

• SAP BASIS Administration:

  • Install, configure, and administer SAP systems, including ECC, BI, HANA, MII and other relevant modules (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP Solution Manager).

  • Conduct system performance tuning and optimization, ensuring high availability and reliability of SAP environments.

  • Lead system updates, patches, and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Cloud Solutions:

  • Design and implement SAP solutions on cloud platforms, focusing on performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.

  • Manage SAP HANA deployments in cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP applications.

  • Familiarity with server environments, Nutanix, and Cisco technologies to optimize cloud infrastructure and compute resources.

• HANA Skills:

  • Administer and support SAP HANA databases, including installation, configuration, backup, and recovery.

  • Perform data modeling and optimization in HANA to enhance application performance.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

• 10 to 15 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with a strong focus on SAP MII, ECC, BI, HANA, and other BASIS modules. In absence of SAP MII basis administration, good experience of managing NetWeaver Application Server Java based applications will be considered.

Preferred skills and experiences

• Proven experience with SQL Server administration and database management.

• Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts and hands-on experience implementing SAP solutions in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).

• Strong knowledge of SAP integration processes, particularly in manufacturing contexts.

• Familiarity with server environments, Nutanix infrastructure, and Cisco networking technologies.

• Experience in managing support along with 3rd party support partners

Preferred Skills

• SAP certification(s) related to BASIS, MII, HANA, or specific SAP modules
