💻 Role

We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our Trust & Risk team—someone who is passionate about creating thoughtful, scalable systems that protect buyers and sellers and strengthen trust across our marketplace. In this role, you’ll design tools, workflows, and user experiences that help detect policy violations, reduce fraud and abuse, enforce platform decisions with precision and fairness, and support users through education, actioning, and appeals.

You’ll partner closely with product designers, product managers, engineers, operations, data scientists, and policy experts to build solutions that balance safety, speed, and user trust. This could include designing appeals flows, account standing and compliance experiences, internal review and enforcement tools, and real-time interventions during live shows.

  • Design end-to-end experiences that protect marketplace integrity while minimizing friction for legitimate users

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex policies, workflows, and risk signals into intuitive product experiences

  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and polished visuals that bring clarity to ambiguous Trust & Risk problems

  • Design experiences that make enforcement decisions feel clear, fair, human, and actionable

  • Support internal teams who review reports, moderate content, investigate fraud, and resolve user issues through efficient, usable tooling

  • Contribute to the broader design system while advocating for accessibility and inclusive user experiences

  • Use data, research, and feedback to improve existing tools and identify new opportunities to reduce harm and build user trust

You'll report to a Design leader and will have the option to either work from one of our office hubs (LA, SF, NYC, or Seattle) or remote (U.S. only).
