Job Description

The Windows Staff Engineer role is an IC leadership role. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting technical direction, shaping our engineering culture, identifying and adopting best practices, designing effective partnerships, mentoring and coaching the team, and more. You will be a technical leader with autonomy who will work to enable effective collaboration, high velocity execution, and technical excellence.
You will work at all layers of the stack and partner closely with technical leaders and management across all of the engineering, research, product, and design. You will help our codebase stay ahead of the curve of the constantly evolving development ecosystem and will ensure that feature development at WDC is both fast and fun.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and development of Windows Desktop Applications.
• Work on new features, bug fixes, analytics, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in developing Windows Desktop applications.
  Extensive programming experience with C/C++/C#.
  Involved in software architecture design.
  Familiarity with code versioning and CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins.

Qualifications

BE, BTech or MTech in Computer science
