Job Description
Our Package Design Engineering team is seeking a talented Senior Packaging Engineer with expertise in both electrical engineering and machine learning, based at Taichung. In this role, you will be pivotal in on the substrate and package design of advanced packaging products, as well as developing and maintaining advanced simulation tools, machine learning software, and automation infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Involve in the substate and package design of our IC packages
- Enhance and maintain our modeling and simulation infrastructure to improve efficiency and accuracy across the design and manufacturing processes.
- Leverage machine learning and data analytics methods to optimize the design and process recipes
- This position may interface with package & product design, electrical, thermal and physical characterization, reliability testing, failure analysis, assembly R&D and other process teams.
Qualifications
- M.S. Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related quantitative/engineering field; or B.S. Degree plus >3 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experience/coursework/research in machine learning and deep learning
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Matlab
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability
- Good communication, relationship skills and a team player
