Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees the quality and efficiency of all lab procedures, regulatory compliance, quality assurance functions, and auditing activities.
  • Maintains and revises quality and regulatory procedures and quality indicators across the lab facility in order to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality and safety.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards related to electrical, HVAC, and N/W work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Assists in conducting safety inspections and is responsible for the implementation of corrective action in order to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and safe working conditions
  • Work as part of the team to support lab operations and quality assurance activities for cross functional teams.
  • Implements corrective actions to quality issues as needed and thoroughly documents changes, tracks relevant data, submits action plans to address problems or areas for improvement
  • Educates and trains staff in the use of relevant technology and methodologies within the lab
  • Responsible for planning, design, implementation, documentation, maintenance and support of the Point systems throughout the lab.
  • Serves as technical consultant to help POC for inventory management tracking and work with facility POC for smooth functioning of lab operations. 
  • Support and Participate actively for all quality Audits and regulatory activity as and when needed to ensure standard operational model.
  • Provides appropriate training, equipment, and education to protect staff and visitors from unsafe conditions. Coordinates/conducts training lab staff on new methods/procedures.
  • Effective working efficiency with Facility, Procurement, IT team to ensure product deliverables are met with on-time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant years of experience
  • 6+ years of related experience, preferably in the Mid/Large scale enterprise lab operations and audit management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets including formulas.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Procurement and Lab operations support experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working independently
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
