These tasks await you:

  • Development, release and maintenance of an internal developed Linux-based embedded software platform

  • Development of new innovations in the wireless communication focused in WLAN

  • System Cyber Security testing and hardening

  • HW Prototype commissioning with SW

  • Collaboration in the preparation of functional specifications for development projects

  • Teamwork with HW engineers, Customer Support and Sales

We are looking for a problem-solving-oriented, communicative person who enjoys learning new processes and dealing with a wide range of customers and colleagues. The ability to work in a team is a matter of course! You enjoy troubleshooting, are structured and organized, and are able to make your own progress. We are open to a university graduate, with a few years of experience in the field of software.

  • You have an engineering degree or a comparable qualification/training - ideally with several years of experience in the development of embedded software

  • You know SCRUM methods and have applied them in project work

  • You have Embedded Linux experience

  • Your skills in C/C++ & open-source community collaboration are up to date

  • You are characterized by technically oriented, analytical and conceptual thinking, strong communication and presentation skills as well as a confident appearance

  • You are a team player with a high level of self-motivation and commitment

  • You are fluent in English preferably also in German, both written and spoken

  • You are a goal-oriented personality with empathy, humor and business acumen combined with an analytical, structured and fact-based approach

  • You have an independent, organized way of working

  • You are motivated to create sustainable future by developing wireless communication to public transportation
