Project Leader

Project Leader – Oskarshamn

We at WeQuel are now looking for a Project Leader in Oskarshamn. You will lead and coordinate projects and change initiatives in a large transformation of both production and IT. The operation is modernizing its production and IT landscape through production engineering, digitalization and automation, and through a global programme covering Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP – SAP). You will work closely with the business and combine project management, change management and leadership.

As a consultant with us, you will work with one of our clients, a leading global industrial company. You will collaborate with local and global stakeholders, coordinate work across functions, run several initiatives in parallel and turn business needs into structured project execution.

Your responsibilities:

Project management and coordination

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, projects and development initiatives

• Run several projects and activities in parallel, with effective planning, prioritization and execution

• Make sure deliveries meet the agreed budget, timelines, quality and installation requirements

• Follow up on activities, risks, dependencies, milestones and results

Transformation and change

• Support and coordinate local activities in the global transformation programme

• Manage changes and prioritize initiatives based on business needs and operational requirements

• Coach, support and develop team members throughout the transformation

• Help project teams and working groups find purpose, understanding and manageability in their work

Collaboration and stakeholders

• Represent the business in relevant meetings and forums, and promote collaboration across organizational boundaries

• Work closely with local and global stakeholders to support alignment and successful implementation

You will work at both a strategic and an operational level, keeping the big picture while handling the details that implementation requires.

Requirements:

• Experience in project management or leading projects or initiatives in production, engineering, digitalization, IT or business transformation

• Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams or projects

• Ability to handle several activities and priorities at once, with strong planning, organizational and coordination skills

• Ability to follow project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and follow up on deliverables

• Experience relevant to change management, operational development or transformation

• Ability to turn business needs into structured activities and practical implementation

• Experience working with different functions and stakeholder groups, with strong communication and interpersonal skills

• University degree in Engineering, IT, Business/Economics or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

• Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience from manufacturing or production environments

• Experience with production-related digitalization, automation or IT transformation

• Familiarity with MES, ERP or other production-related business systems

• Experience coordinating work in larger transformation programmes with local and global stakeholders

Assignment details:

• Start date: As soon as possible

• End date: 2027-12-31, with possibility of extension

• Workload: 100%

• Location: Oskarshamn – on-site; the exact on-site arrangement will be confirmed
