Mechanical Engineer, Automotive

WeQuel is looking for a Mechanical Engineer/Design Engineer

We are currently seeking experienced Design Engineers for assignments within a specialised vehicle development environment. You will work with chassis design and development for advanced vehicle platforms in a defence-oriented setting, where precision, technical documentation, and cross-functional collaboration are central to the role.

You bring hands-on experience from product development within the vehicle industry and are comfortable taking ownership of engineering deliverables in a structured, process-driven organisation.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Mechanical or Vehicle Engineering

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in vehicle or chassis product development

• Proficiency in OAS, 3DEXPERIENCE, CATIA V5 / ENOVIA, KS, and FRAS

• Experience performing design and development work within chassis engineering

• Experience driving and coordinating engineering change orders (ECOs)

• Ability to maintain technical drawings and defence-specific specifications

Meritorious:

• Experience with prototype coordination, concept work, and root cause investigation

• Background in defence vehicles or other specialised vehicle platforms

• Experience from an OEM or tier-1 supplier environment within the vehicle industry

Location: Södertälje
Language requirements: Fluent English required, Swedish is a merit
