Functional Analyst – Factory IT & Digitalization

About the Role

We are looking for a Functional Analyst to join a collaborative Factory IT & Digitalization team supporting the final phase of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementation.

In this role, you will combine advisory and hands-on responsibilities, supporting both projects and production lines through requirements analysis, business process mapping, MES configuration, testing, and digitalization initiatives. You will work closely with production, engineering, and Factory IT to help optimize manufacturing processes and support the implementation of modern digital solutions across automated and manual production cells.

Your Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

• Create and execute MES test cases based on business process mapping.

• Configure and model production lines within the Manufacturing Execution System (MES).

• Prepare and maintain Master Data for MES.

• Support production and projects in both advisory and operational roles.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on digitalization projects for automated and manual production cells.

We Are Looking For

Must Have

• Experience in requirements analysis and business systems.

• Experience working with SAP and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

• Good understanding of business processes and digitalization within manufacturing.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in complex environments.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

Meritorious

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.

• Programming experience.

• Experience with OEE measurement and/or production performance follow-up.

• Experience writing scripts using Python and/or Excel VBA.

• Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI).

• Swedish language skills.
