The Sr. Data Engineer is responsible for designing changes to the warehouse data model and building scalable and efficient processes to populate or modify warehouse data.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Implementing and operating data pipelines for collecting data from applications and environments
- Writing code to build tools, frameworks, dashboards and analytical environments
- Researching and recommending analytical tools/frameworks/products and/or emerging technologies as needed for a solution
- Leading and/or creating data and UI designs
- Analyzing, designing, and coordinating the development of high-quality queries
- Creating and reviewing appropriate documentation such as implementation manuals, support manuals/playbooks, etc. as needed to run/support the software
- Planning and performing all data-related development and optimization job functions
- Streamlining and managing data schema or stored procedures changes through structured or automated processes to ensure changes are progressed in with the supporting code
- Preparation of overall design using BI Tool (Sisense/Power BI) and data perspective
- Maintaining and enhancing our existing BI platform (Sisense) while building new reporting interfaces.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience
- 4-6 years related work experience
- Experience working with user-facing BI tools like SiSense, PowerBI
