In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop Infrastructure Engineers in roles with moderate complexity and risk
- Lead teams to manage Data Center infrastructure and governance.
- Ensure the Information Technology infrastructure is always functioning as effectively as possible
- Plan and deploy Information Technology infrastructure across multiple locations for new sites and refresh for existing sites.
- Work with the networking and software engineering groups
- Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
- Determine appropriate strategy and actions of Infrastructure Engineers to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding infrastructure to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures
- Recommend courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers
- Lead team to achieve objectives
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Infrastructure Engineering
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 5+ years of Management experience
Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:
- Experience in Infrastructure Engineering, Data Center Managment, Cloud, network, sotorage and servers. Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate or post graduate in any stream of technology from a recognized university
- Certification and Data Center Management, networking, cloud would be preferred choice.
Job Expectations:
experience in Managing Data Centers, governance, audits, vendor management, moderate to good knowledge in network, could, storage, structured cabling etc,
Confident with strong Commumication and presentation skills, good team manager and team player.
