In this role, you will:
- Provide support for more experienced Small Business Underwriters
- Prepare reports within Small Business Banking
- Review basic consumer requests, related to decisions, products and process
- Gather information to make appropriate decisions
- Ensure products meet company and industry guidelines
- Receive direction from managers, more experienced Underwriters and exercise independent judgment while developing understanding of programs, collateral and risk
- Collaborate and consult with managers, internal and external business partners and more experienced underwriters
Required Qualifications, US:
- 6+ months of Client services, Administrative, Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Commercial real estate credit underwriting experience
- Knowledge and understanding of real estate or commercial loans
- Exposure to Wells Fargo BLAST (Business Lending and Sales Tracking) system
- Exposure to Wells Fargo AFS (Automated Financial Systems)
- Loan operations experience
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial loan operations
- Knowledge and understanding of loan processing, loan document preparation or loan document post-closing review
- Knowledge and understanding of underwriting: commercial real estate property types
- Reporting experience
- Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
- Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents/reports
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
