Senior Systems Operations Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking for Senior Systems Operations Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the Systems Operations functional area
• Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
• Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
• Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
• Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Engage with App teams to procure patching/remediation implementation window.
• Schedule changes for implementing the compliance requirements (patching, remediation, and certificate renewals).
• Track and report progress to appropriate stakeholders.
• Engage with Governance teams to improve the compliance processes.
• Incident & Problem management, RCA, Preventive Action Coordination & ECM Compliance activities.

Required Qualifications:

• At least 6 years hands on Middleware Administration (WebLogic, Tomcat, WebSphere, JBoss) (Patching, Installation, Configuring, Deploy, Maintenance and Troubleshooting/Build) on Windows/Linux Environment.
• Hands on Administration of IIS/Apache Webserver (Patching, Installation, Configuring, Deploy, Maintenance and Troubleshooting/Build) on Windows/Linux Environment.
• Good Understanding on UCD, Ansible automation tool.
• Understanding in Java/J2EE platforms (to handle admin tasks).
• Should have good analytical/troubleshooting skills.
• Hands on experience on SSL certificate management using Venafi.
• Hands on experience on AppDynamics, Grafana, and Splunk.
• Experience in automating administration tasks using scripting.
• Knowledge on any of the shell/python scripting language.

• Experience using ITSM Service Now application.
• Microsoft Excel spreadsheets experience importing, exporting, and manipulating data using pivot tables.
• ITIL v4 Certification.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio) skills.
