Senior Software Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering or equivalent and must have 15+ Years of overall experience and proven record of leading and managing a minimum team of 15+ Technology Team members
  Well verse in developing applications leveraging Salesforce, nCINO product platform Experience developing nCino/Salesforce Configuration, customizations Apex/VF, integrations SOAP/REST
  Experience in design, and develop advanced customizations utilizing nCino, Salesforce and Forcecom
  Experience Mapping functional requirements to Salesforce features and functionality;
  Web Services, Design Patterns & Cloud Platform enablement with engineering focus
  Take ownership of delivery and manage multi-release projects in AGILE (Scrum, Scaled Agile) processes
  Functional Skills in onboarding systems, and hands-on in integrations with integrated systems.
  Testing - Unit, SIT and Support for UAT testing. Test Automation.
  Provides technical direction to the project team: lead and participate in design discussions, writing code and code reviews. Work closely with the team to develop appropriate technical design and approach for application development
  Periodic review of current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for improvements
  Assure deliverables are as per the agreed requirements, confirm to quality standards, and are delivered within committed timelines
  Ability to actively engage business/technology partners, present, defend & challenge technical recommendations
  Instill best practices for software development and documentation
  Able to provide effort estimates, identify resource needs, and enforces project and delivery standards
  Create accurate project plans, schedules, and ensure efficient allocation of resources
  Should possess Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively across organizational lines and with virtual team members.
  Ability to deal with ambiguities effectively
  Manage team with focus on enhancing their technical/ domain skillsets.
  Works in a matrix environment and build good working relationships with multiple stakeholders including onsite Technology partners.
  Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  Motivate team members and promote a strong sense of code quality, extensibility, reusability and urgency
  Strong demonstrated people development skills to hire, coach, develop, and mentor team members. 
  Pro-actively identify talent needs, and plan for/ manage attrition 
  Build a culture of continuous improvement within team and put together metrics to measure the impact of their efforts
  Ensure all the team are adhered to compliance related requirements

Job Expectations:

• Contribute and/or lead specific design and development around nCino specific functionality and perform detailed product customization and demonstrations
  Demonstrate creating Salesforce.com custom fields and editing page layouts within an nCino demonstration environment
  Provide and mentor Subject Matter Expertise in technical product set up and functional / architectural processes. Lead architecture discussions and finalize go to strategies – Data and Set ups
  Understand, Critic and design data modelling to support business dashboards and data consolidations
  Proactive understanding of nCino platform and tab on recent release functionality
  Collaborate with global team in finalizing requirements and product fitments as per out of box set ups and reduced customizations.
  Product Experience

  Experience in Salesforce, nCino Platform Execute as a nCino Lead Developer and Salesforce
  Hands on experience in configuring nCino UI Group , Routes, Screens etc
  Hands on experience in configuring product catalog, product package, entities involvement, exposure, collateral management, covenants etc
  nCino Set Up for System Administrators
  Understand business and technical requirements and map them

Salesforce expereince. nCINO experience is definite.
