About this role:

As a Senior Software Engineer within the TCOO organization at Wells Fargo, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver technology solutions on mainframe. Drive significant business impact through your contributions and apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to tackle a diverse array of challenges.

In this role, you will:

  • Need to have working experience in system development methodology.
  • Ability to utilize a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs. 
  • Analyzes highly complex business requirements and can write a complex functional system design to meet business requirements. 
  • Lead a team of, and provide direction to, less experienced developers on projects, work with various technology partners and work with Principal Engineers and Architects to understand different technology solutions, provide technology recommendations, implementation, and postproduction support. 
  • Create new documentation for departmental procedures, training, and user guides.
  • Assures quality, security, business continuation plan and compliance requirements are met and documented for supported area.
     

Required Qualifications

  • 10 + years of Software Engineering experience
  • 5 + years of Mainframe experience
  • 5+ years of experience with full Software Development Life Cycle using Agile.
  • Strong technical skills in COBOL, VSAM, JCL, IBM-Z/OS, TSO/ISPF, FileAID, NDM, Endevor, CA7, EasyTrieve

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience on Java, Microservices, PCF
  • Cloud Certifications AZURE or GCP
  • Experience in working for Financial Services Companies
