Senior Software Engineer

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer

In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 7+ Years hands-on experience with Informatica Power Center .
• Enterprise-level ETL development and ETL architecture using Informatica and understanding on file structures.
• Experience or Exposure to IICS/IDMC is a plus.
• Excellent SQL query writing skills using any database.
• Informatica, Unix and SQL Server development, unit testing and code deployment to production.
• Should be able to individually attend client calls and perform requirement gathering and prepare required documents
• Should be good in debugging and analyzing the issues and resolve in a timely manner.
• Should have good skills in Unix, should be able to analyze/create Unix scripts individually.
• Should have very good knowledge in ETL process, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent skills in tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures.
• Exposure of Banking and Finance Domain is a plus.
• Should be able work with minimal supervision and be a point of contact for the team.
• Should be detail oriented, able to multitask and have good communication skills.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI\CD process
• Must have worked in Agile environments.
• Continually develop depth and breadth in key competencies.
• Demonstrate a curiosity toward learning and treat negative events as opportunities for learning. 
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and use strong writing and verbal skills to communicate facts, figures, and ideas to others.
• Deliver effective presentations and talks.
