Senior Network Engineer

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Network Engineer.

In this role, you will:

• Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems. 
• Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements. 
• Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems. 
• Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions. 
• Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes. 
• Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables. 
• Responsible for business partner engagement, planning, research and coordination of business-to-business network connection solution decisions. 
• Coordinate execution of network changes via the Wells Fargo change control process.
• Assist on mitigating risk by proactively addressing capacity problems or system related issues, participate in enterprise level projects from an network perspective.
• Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams.  

Required Qualifications:

• Any Graduation with 8+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
• 3+ years related business analysis / design.
• 1-2 yrs. of working cross-functionality with tech & non-tech experience.
• 4-5 years exp in tech project management
• Experience tracking and reporting milestones including key deliverables and due dates
• Basic knowledge in Datacenter Networking technologies including IP routing, switching, cloud networking, network security, VPN
• Demonstrable experience of engaging partners and other stakeholders to support important business decisions.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and have experience engaging with senior leaders and managers.
• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
• Must be self-driven and able to work with little supervision and direction.

Desired Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio. Proficient with Jira
• Experience working in Agile methodology with ability to elicit requirements, user stories, document progress
• Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now
