About this role:

Wells Fargo are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Sr. Lead Technology Business Services Consultant focusing in Workforce Management and Portfolio Economics. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and executing workforce strategies, portfolio management, and economic initiatives to drive organizational success.  You will help provide clear and efficient data-driven workforce strategy, operations, and governance solutions which enable our customers to proactively plan, manage, and respond to changes in the tech landscape with confidence.


In this role, you will:

  • Work as an advisor to more experienced leadership to influence technology matters to develop programs that are effective and efficient for highly complex business and technical needs across one or more lines of business

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in depth evaluation across multiple lines of business or the enterprise

  • Deliver solutions that are long term, large scale, and which require understanding of organizational goals or priorities and technology to develop executable strategies and plans

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions related to technology matters that are large scale, cross functional, or companywide

  • Engage with the technology team and more experienced leaders to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business and for execution of operational processes 

  • Workforce Strategy Planning: Develop operating frameworks, controls, and execution plans for workforce strategies. This includes resource forecasting, open role planning, ramp planning, recruiting, and tenure tracking.

  • Workforce Operations and Governance: expense initiatives, attrition and retention efforts, early talent execution, workforce metrics (ex. gearing ratios), vendor management, and move line planning and execution.

  • Enable instantaneous transparency to portfolio & investment health, including financial, capacity, demand, and book of work data.

  • Portfolio Management Economics: Maintain resource-product alignment and input workforce plans into product capacity planning tool. Partner with business planning counterparts to establish portfolio governance, routines, and practices consistent across the organization. Collaborate with finance to provide portfolio financial management support (ex. Portfolio Financial Reviews & Variance Explanations)


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of workforce management experience

  • 3+ years of portfolio management experience


Required Qualifications for Europe, Middle East & Africa only:

  • Experience in Information Technology in support of Business Services, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field

  • Proven experience in workforce strategy planning, workforce operations, portfolio management, and economics

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data to drive business decisions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and levels of the organization

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
