About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Data Management Analyst


In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence objectives, plans, specifications, resources, and long-term goals for highly complex business and technical needs
  • Design and conduct highly complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
  • Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions
  • Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership
  • Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
  • Partner with groups companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Ensure smooth running and enable in efficient and effective management of the business including implementation of various operational governance activities
  • Examples might include, but are not limited to: finance / operational / executive management review coordination, ensuring all operational risk and governance activities, major change management initiatives, ongoing oversight and tracking/monitoring/governance around operating metrics, risk metrics, other priority business metrics and efficiency and automation initiatives etc.
  • Convert business problem statements into cost effective, scalable, reliable & user-friendly solutions
  • Oversee/track the implementation of new expansions and deliver the setting up of new capabilities from Hiring to Onboarding
  • Develop metrics and track/ evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives, and operational risk and governance controls tracking
  • Develop collaterals for various business meetings which would involve providing summary view of overall performance of function segregated by delivery units
  • Engage with partners to conceptualize, agree and drive initiatives which add value to business like driving automation and idea generation, implementing cross-business best practices etc
  • Provide both technical and consulting perspective to business leaders at an appropriate level of information encapsulation.
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, handling inquiries and developing action plans to address them, and assisting with the preparation and dissemination of communications


Job Expectations:

  • Overall experience of 15+ years with experience in Business Management, implementation, strategic planning, or similar roles in the financial services industry
  • Knowledge of Data Mgmt and Data Governance
  • Product knowledge of one or more CIB products or asset classes is an added advantage
  • Master’s degree in business administration, finance or a similar field and project management certification would be a plus.
  • Strong Planning and Presentation skills
  • Proficient with various applications in Microsoft suite – Excel, Access, word and PowerPoint. Experience in automation.
  • Has the ability to compile and analyze large data sets and present in effective manner.
  • Ability to put together strategic decks and meaningful metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to simplify and present complex topics for easier understanding
  • Working experience on a BI / Reporting tools will be an added advantage
  • Experience in working GCC Banking environment would be beneficial
  • Ability to engage and build relationship with senior stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Inquisitive in nature and has the ability to learn and understand business quickly and connect the dots between multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
  • Takes ownership and accountability for responsibilities, business outcomes, and for management of risk exposure
